LUKE BELLE – ACTOR SINGER
VOICE TYPE: Baritone
LOCATION: Melbourne \ Naarm
Meet Luke Belle
I got my first solo in performance at 10 years of age, in a tinsel wig - ‘You Can’t Stop the Music’. I love making people laugh and the spontaneity afforded by live performance where anything can go wrong.
I fell in love with the drama and extravagance of opera, which led me to a classical singing focus in a Bachelor of Music at Monash University, 2013.
Since then, I’ve poured this training into as many varied and unique performance styles and opportunities as possible, finding audiences who might not otherwise seek opera out. I love any opportunity to be the centre of attention, and hearing my voice booming around a room always appeals, so adding hosting trivia and other events to my repertoire felt natural.
This more relaxed, casual atmosphere “off the stage” gives me a chance to connect more directly with people - I leave each event with at least one new friend!
